Day 2:

Arrival in Windhoek, Namibia

After a morning game drive in Amboseli, we will drive further south to the picturesque Taita Hills. This savanna, dotted with hills tipped with huge rock outcrops, forms part of the Tsavo conservation area. We will spend the next two days exploring the park in search of lions, elephants, ostriches, antelopes, and other animals. Accommodation will be at Camili Adventure Mobile Camp.

Days 3 & 4:

NamibRand Game Reserve and Sossusvlei

We will check out of the hotel and catch a flight to NamibRand Nature Reserve, where we will transfer to your accommodation at Kwessi Dunes. We will spend the next two days exploring the park with daily morning and evening game drives, star gazing, and guided walks into the Namib Desert. Visit the dunes of Sossusvlei, among the highest in the world. Walk through the salt-and-clay pan known as Deadvlei, inhabited by fascinating fossilized trees. In the afternoon, go for an ATV excursion on the dunes.

Days 5 & 6:

Swakopmund and Walvis Bay

After breakfast we will transfer to Swakopmund, arriving in time for lunch and some afternoon rest. Accommodation will be at The Strand Hotel. Explore the beautiful beaches and architecture. The following day, drive to the coast and experience the marine life of Walvis Bay by kayak. Take a scenic catamaran cruise in Walvis Bay, rich with marine life including Cape Fur seals, flamingos, and pelicans.

Days 7, 8 & 9:

Etosha National Park

Today we will check out and fly to Opuwo, home to the indigenous Himba people. Himba women are known for their use of red otjize, a blend of red ochre and butterfat they use to beautify their bodies and hair. Later, we will fly to Ongava Private Game Reserve on the border of Etosha National Park where we will spend the next three nights. Your accommodation will be at Ongava Lodge Etosha.
