Day 1:
Catch your flight to your safari starting point at Maun International Airport.
Day 2:
Welcome to Botswana, “The Gem of Africa.” A Camili safari guide will pick you up from Maun International Airport and transfer you to Chobe National Park. Famous for its massive herds of elephants, Chobe stretches from the Linyati River all the way to Savute Marsh. We will arrive in time for lunch and some rest, then later head out for an evening game drive. Your accommodation will be at Savute Elephant Lodge.
Days 3 & 4:
Spend the next two days exploring the park with daily morning and evening game drives. Visit Savute Marsh and learn about the ecological mystery. Explore the Gubatsa Hills, and also visit some of the most well-preserved ancient sand rock art in Africa.
Days 5 & 6:
After breakfast we will transfer to Moremi, arriving in time for lunch and some afternoon rest. Situated in the eastern part of the Okavango Delta, Moremi hosts an incredible array of wildlife including lions, leopards, and wild dogs. We will spend two days exploring the park with daily morning and evening game drives, going on guided nature walks and boat safaris. Accommodation will be at Mombo Camp.
Days 7, 8 & 9:
After breakfast we will transfer to Okavango Delta, arriving at your lodge in time for lunch and some rest. Your accommodation will be at the Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge, located on a beautiful island in a private concession in the northern part of Okavango. Spend the next three days exploring the park with daily activities including morning and evening game drives. Enjoy high tea and sundowners. Explore the park via a traditional wooden canoe called a Mokoro. Experience the thrill of a walking safari while escorted by an armed guide. With many of the Delta’s most remote areas not reachable by land or waterways, you will have a chance to enjoy a scenic helicopter flight.
Day 10:
On your last day, enjoy the final morning game drive before checking out and transferring to the airstrip for your flight to Maun. In Maun, you will connect to your flight home via Johannesburg.
